Dry Veg Samosa

Leftover Ingredient - Aloo Methi/Dry Veg Ingredients


Ingredients

For Covering
Refined Flour (Maida)- 1 Tropical Twin
Refines Oil- 2 TSP
Water to knead Dough
Baking Powder-1/2 TSP
Salt- 1 TSP
Ajwain- 1/4 TSP

For Stuffing
Aloo Methi or any leftover dry vegetable (Stored in Buddy Bowl)
Asafoetida
Mustard Seeds
Oil

Method
Mix refined flour,salt,ajwain,backing powder & oil, mix well. Add water & make soft dough. Cover it with moist Muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes. Heat 1 TSP oil in Chef Series Frying Pan or any frying pan or in kadhaye. Add mustard seeds,chat masala,asafoetida & curry leaves,mix leftover dry veg & saute. Make small rolls of dough and roll it into a 4"-5" diameter circle. Cut it into two parts like semi circle. Now take one semi-circle and fold it like a cone. Use water while doing so. Place a spoon of filling in the cone and seal the 3rd side using a drop of water. Brush the samosas with little oil & bake for 6-7 minutes using Silicone mould. Or heat oil for deep frying. Deep fry over medium heat until samosa turns golden in color. Serve it with tangy raw mango,onion & curry leave salsa.

Curry Leave Salsa
Chop peeled onion,raw mango using Quick Chef. Add curry leaves,tomatoes,green chilies,olive oil,salt & mix again, tangy salsa is ready to serve.

Variations
Any leftover dry vegetable or dals can be used for stuffing.
