Panner Makhani

Panner Makhani

North Indian dish 


Serves: 4 persons

Ingredients
250 gm Panner,
1 cup onion paste
1 tomato puree
1TSP kasuri methi
1 TSP ginger garlic paste
1 TSP coriander-cumin powder
1/2 garam masala powder
2 TSP red chili powder
1 TSP turmeric powder
3 TSP butter
4-5 TSP toned milk or cream( i used doubled toned milk)
Salt to taste

Method
If it is a store bought paneer; soak in hot salt water for about 1o minutes. This process makes the paneer soft and tasty.
Make medium cubes of Panner.
Heat butter in a pan,add ginger garlic paste,once they turn mild golden colour add onion paste.Saute over medium heat until onion gets cooked.
Once onion colur becomes golden brown add tomato puree and simmer until the tomato puree thickens.
Add garam masala,red chili powder,turmeric powder, kasuri methi, coriander-cumin powder & salt to taste.
Add milk & stir for another 5-10 minutes.
Add paneer cubes.
Cook for about 30 seconds over low heat.
Transfer it to the serving plate.
Garnishing with chopped coriander leaves butter and grapes
Serves hot with Naan,chapati.
